Diagnostic Service: Upper GI Endoscopy
It is an endoscopic procedure which uses a long, flexible tube with a small camera at its tip to observe the inside lining of the esophagus, stomach and the first part of the small intestine (duodenum). A Gastroenterologist performs the procedure. Booking is mandatory.
You should have light dinner on the previous night and 6 hrs fasting before the test. Water is also restricted but sip of water is allowed.
